Even as a small child, helping and training animals was always my passion. From rescuing injured wildlife and working as a wildlife care expert, to raising and showing horses ( and training children to ride), to working with and training dogs for obedience, and finally to raising and training show dogs.
I have always felt a deep connection with the dogs in my care and an undeniable joy in watching them mature from adorable, happy puppies to amazing loving champions.
Starting my dog show career later in life has brought many challenges, but even more rewards. I started by showing with my first aussie. We then had to add a toller for my son to show. Next thing I know I was working and apprenticing for other handlers. Then before I knew it I had my first clients which soon became more like family with whom I still show for today. Finally I became a PHA (professional handlers association) member….and as they say… “THE REST IS HISTORY”.
